Job summary

The Boeing Company in Tinker AFB, OK, seeks an Electronic & Electrical System Design Engineer (Associate or Mid-Level) to join the AISF Laboratory Operations team. You will design lab changes for new test articles and upgrades, support platform upgrades, and collaborate with cybersecurity to meet requirements.

A strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering and hands-on avionics troubleshooting are essential. Relocation is offered; travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires US Citizenship and ability to obtain US Security Clearance.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical) or related field.
• 2+ years in electrical or mechanical engineering on complex systems.
• 2+ years troubleshooting avionics equipment, electronics, or aircraft systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Design lab changes for new test articles and integration supporting platform upgrades.
• Modify existing systems to resolve DMS and incorporate new tech.
• Collaborate with cyber security team on design changes.
• Develop and support hardware modification and configuration planning.
• Direct material procurement for lab design upgrades and assembly oversight.
• Create test plans, perform verification, analyze results, and report findings.
• Classify/de-classify test equipment for lab use.
• Support software engineers in lab environment and troubleshoot issues.
• Contribute to proposal development for new business opportunities.
• Occasional travel up to 10%.
