Job summary

Epitec is seeking an experienced Avionics Supplier Development Engineer / Technical Program Manager to support development and production of avionics hardware for a leading aerospace program. This role acts as the technical liaison between engineering teams and external manufacturers, helping drive supplier performance, product development, testing, and production readiness.

Onsite locations include Kent, WA and additional sites such as El Segundo, CA and Woodland Hills, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in electronic hardware development, manufacturing, NPI, supplier management, or technical program management.
• Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams and external manufacturers.
• Strong project management, scheduling, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and project scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Lead avionics product development efforts from New Product Introduction (NPI) through production.
• Partner with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and supplier teams to deliver complex electronic hardware.
• Manage supplier performance, technical risks, manufacturing readiness, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate product qualification, acceptance, and functional testing activities.
• Drive project schedules, scope changes, product documentation, and supplier deliverables.
• Support procurement, hardware planning, and production operations.
