Job summary

Varstaff Staffing seeks a seasoned avionics program manager to bridge internal engineering with external contract manufacturers for flight-grade electronics. You will drive NPI, rate production, and testing of components like sensors, batteries, and avionics boxes, coordinating with procurement and supplier quality to hit milestones.

The role requires 5–10 years on complex electronic product development, cross-functional teamwork, and U.S. work eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field with project management experience.
• 5–10 years in complex electronic product development and flight hardware testing.
• Experience coordinating with external manufacturers and cross-functional teams.
• U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or eligible refugee/asylee.

Responsibilities

• Bridge internal program engineering with supplier partners to support avionics hardware.
• Lead NPI, production ramp, and test activities for flight-grade components.
• Manage SOWs, SDRLs, and supplier schedules to meet milestones.
• Drive RCCA, DFX feedback, and risk mitigation with vendors.
