Job summary

Blue Origin in Los Angeles, CA invites applications for an Avionics Software Intern to join our engineering teams on projects spanning orbital rockets, ground systems, test stands, and moon landers.

In this paid 15-week internship, you will gain hands-on, real-world experience, receive mentorship, and participate in internal events while contributing to software verification and development efforts. Strong coding skills in C/C++, Python, and JavaScript are valued.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a graduate program with at least one semester remaining.
• Available to work full time for 15 weeks during internship.
• Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for mission and vision.
• U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. for refugee or asylum.

Responsibilities

• Avionics software design, development and testing for programs ranging from orbital rockets to moon landers.
• Work directly with Blue Origin engineering teams on projects supporting our business units.
• Gain hands-on, real-world experience and participate in mentorship and events.
