Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking an Avionics Software Intern to join our engineering teams on projects spanning orbital rockets, ground systems, test stands, and moon landers. Interns gain hands-on, real-world experience and mentorship while contributing to software and avionics development.

Qualifications include U.S. citizenship or eligible status, current undergraduate enrollment with at least one semester remaining, and availability to work full time for 15 weeks.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S.
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with at least one semester remaining after the internship.
• Completed at least one year of coursework post-high school graduation.
• Available to work full time for 15 weeks while not enrolled in coursework.
• Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist design, development and testing of avionics hardware and software.
• Collaborate with diverse engineering teams to understand needs and design solutions.
• Contribute to software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintenance.
