Job summary

Blue Origin in Seattle is seeking a Technical Project Manager for avionics lifecycle management of the New Glenn program. You will work with Integrated Product Team leadership, internal operations, Supply Chain, and external partners to deliver hardware on schedule and within budget.

The role emphasizes production engineering, NPI, sustaining production, and end-to-end hardware lifecycle. Travel up to 20% may be required, and US citizenship or eligible status is needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronics, aerospace, mechanical, manufacturing engineering, or another relevant engineering field.
• 6+ years of experience developing, manufacturing, introducing, testing, or sustaining complex electronic products, including PCBs and enclosures.
• Project management experience or formal training with cross-functional teams and external manufacturers.
• Experience planning, fabricating, testing, and delivering complex electronic hardware with datasets, budgets, cost estimates, and metrics using Excel or similar tools.
• Strong ability to develop, communicate, and execute logic-linked schedules using MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with IPT leadership to integrate product concepts and align execution with objectives.
• Lead avionics development and NPI activities through planning, execution, reviews, production transition, and closeout.
• Develop end-to-end, logic-linked schedules covering dependencies and critical paths.
• Define production strategies aligning supplier execution, procurement, internal assembly, testing, and hardware demand with program requirements.
• Coordinate SOWs, SDRLs, EIDPs, and other production artifacts with suppliers and internal teams.
• Plan and coordinate hardware procurement, long-lead orders, budgets, delivery schedules, and qualification activities.
• Monitor supplier performance, address risks, and act as the primary technical contact for hardware delivery.
