Blue Origin is seeking an Avionics Manufacturing Engineer to join the Operations team in Huntsville, AL. You will translate engineering intent into manufacturing instructions, lead avionics panel subassembly and integration on the floor, and ensure compliance with J-STD-001, IPC-6012, and IPC/WHMA-A-620 guidelines.

You will collaborate with design, electrical systems, and test operations to maintain high-quality, manufacturable avionics hardware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university.
• 0–3 years Level 1 Manufacturing Engineer or 3+ years Level 2 Manufacturing Engineer or 5+ years Senior Manufacturing Engineer would apply.
• Strong ability to translate engineering intent into precise manufacturing instructions.

Responsabilités

• Translate engineering intent, drawings, schematics, and configurations into clear manufacturing work instructions.
• Lead avionics panel subassembly and integration on the manufacturing floor (PCBA, harness routing, etc).
• Enforce workmanship standards per J-STD-001, IPC-6012, IPC/WHMA-A-620 across avionics panel builds.
• Serve as technical liaison between design, electrical systems, test ops, and manufacturing.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing work instructions covering inspection, fabrication, PCBA, harness integration, function testing.
