West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking an Avionics Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair avionics units to the component level, including Navs, Coms, Pulses, Radar, Audio and Autopilot systems, as well as related aircraft systems.

The role requires high school completion and prefer electronics/avionics training. You will work on general avionics support tasks, inspect systems, and communicate with customers in project management and pricing discussions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Electronics or avionics factory training preferred.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot and repair avionics units to component level (Navs, Coms, Pulse, Radar, Audio, Autopilot).
• Perform general avionics support on aircraft including panel/component removal and installation.
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft systems and components as directed.
• Verify performance of systems on aircraft and in shop.
• Maintain and repair shop facilities, equipment and tooling.
• Communicate with customers in project management and pricing discussions.
• Work independently on projects and follow supervisor instructions.
• Adhere to FAA guidelines and safety rules.
