Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking an Avionics Technician at our Teterboro, NJ site. This full-time, on-site role focuses on troubleshooting and repairing avionics units and aircraft systems down to component level, including Navs, Coms, Pulse, Radar, Audio, and autopilot.

You will perform system inspections, support aircraft movement, and collaborate with customers on project management and pricing. A high school diploma and 1+ year avionics experience are preferred; English communication and basic

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Electronics/Avionics factory training preferred.
• 1+ years avionics repair or installation experience preferred.
• Must communicate in English and be capable of basic computer use.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair avionics units down to component level (Navs, Coms, Pulse, Radar, Audio, Autopilot).
• Perform general avionics support on aircraft (panel/component removal/install).
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components; verify system performance.
• Assist with aircraft movement and project-related customer interactions.
• Follow FAA guidelines and safety rules; work under Avionics Team Leader.
