West Star Aviation is seeking an Avionics Install Technician to perform installation, repair, and inspection of avionics systems on civilian aircraft in Perryville, MO. The role includes wiring, connector work and equipment maintenance, with emphasis on safety and FAA guidelines.

Tech I level requires 0–2 years of avionics/electrical experience; the position offers full-time hours, on-site work, and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support personal and professional growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Electronics or avionics training preferred.
• Basic computer skills are required to navigate manuals and databases.

Responsibilities

• Removal and installation of panels, components and interiors, including repair work on avionics installations.
• Stamp, bundle and install connectors on wiring.
• Removal of old wiring and installation of new wire bundles in aircraft.
• Troubleshooting and evaluation of avionics systems on the aircraft.
• Inspection and evaluation of the aircraft and components.
