West Star Aviation is seeking an Avionics Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair avionics units and aircraft systems in a fast-paced, on-site Las Vegas hangar. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and adherence to FAA guidelines while supporting customer projects and ongoing maintenance tasks.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year avionics repair experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and basic computer proficiency.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent; avionics training preferred.
• 1+ years avionics repair or installations preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; passport ideal but not mandatory.
• Willingness to overtime and weekend work; reliable transportation required.

Aufgaben

• Perform general avionics support items on aircraft, including removal and installation of panels and components.
• Troubleshooting and evaluation of aircraft systems.
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components.
• Verify aircraft performance of systems.
• Maintain shop facilities and tooling to support operations.
• Work with customers in project management, pricing and support roles.
• Work independently on projects.
• Communicate effectively in English.
• Maintain basic computer skills to navigate training and maintenance data bases.
