Job summary

Blue Origin’s Lunar Permanence team in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a hands-on avionics engineer to design and own digital, analog, and mixed-signal circuit boards across the product lifecycle. You will participate in architecture trade studies, assess performance, perform design reviews, and help drive reliability and safety initiatives for spaceflight hardware.

You should be proficient with ASIC/FPGA interfacing, signal integrity, and power design, and willing to travel to other Blue Origin

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or related).
  • Experience with analog/mixed-signal design, including analysis, simulation, testing, and part selection.
  • Knowledge of signal integrity, power, grounding, and board layout principles.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, lead, and own digital, analog, and mixed-signal avionic designs.
  • Own avionics boards across concept to production.
  • Support architecture trade studies and performance characterization.
  • Support FMECA, WCCA, DFx, and root-cause analyses of test discrepancies.
  • Participate in technology development, mission assurance and safety initiatives.
  • Communicate development status, risks, and challenges to management.
