RTX is seeking an Electrical Engineer 1 in Cedar Rapids, IA to contribute to the Computing Products Hardware Department. You will work on hardware solutions for data concentration, I/O processing and avionics, supporting the design through production and sustainment.

The role emphasizes circuit design, schematic capture, and detailed troubleshooting in a lab setting, with opportunities to learn from senior engineers and work under DO-160/DO-254 standards.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM major obtained by start date.
• Experience in a lab environment performing hands-on troubleshooting with engineering test equipment.
• Experience with schematic capture of digital/analog mixed-signal circuit designs.

Responsabilidades

• Support products at all phases of the product lifecycle (design & development, transition to production, factory support, service support).
• Support circuit board designs involving complex microprocessor and FPGA architectures including schematic capture, part selection, simulation, and troubleshooting activities.
• Obsolescence resolution activities.
• Implement/support designs optimized for cost, manufacturability and testability.
• Ensure designs comply with DO-160 and DO-254 standards.
