Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an avionics hardware engineer to contribute to the development, testing, and qualification of C&DH and PMAD components for lunar vehicles. You will work across the product lifecycle from conception through sustainment with a focus on safety and reliability.

You will collaborate with a team of engineers across multiple disciplines, defining interfaces, executing tests, and supporting hardware builds for EDU and flight hardware in a demanding spaceflight environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical, Computer, or Aerospace or related field.
• MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering preferred.
• Experience with avionics hardware build and test.
• Knowledge of requirements development and verification.
• Exposure to hardware verification plans and reports.

Responsibilities

• Support C&DH and PMAD engineers in lifecycle development of avionics hardware.
• Perform hardware build, integration and test of EDU and flight hardware.
• Develop verification and qualification strategies for avionics subsystems.
• Conduct root cause analyses and develop mitigation plans for hardware failures.
