Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking an Electrical Electronic Engineering Manager in the United States to lead a team of 18 engineers across avionics and flight controls. You will set requirements, manage LRU hardware/software, and collaborate with suppliers in an Agile setting.

You will forecast staffing and budgets, mentor staff, and drive process improvements to achieve first-time quality and on-schedule delivery. A strong leadership background and relevant engineering degree are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in aircraft, avionics, flight controls, and/or other electronics.
• 10+ years of experience in a professional environment.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Aeronautical) or related field.
• At least one year in a leadership role or completed Boeing leadership course.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a diverse team of engineers; motivate and advocate for staff.
• Provide technical direction on processes, plans, tools, and skills.
• Run the business with staffing, budgeting, and goal alignment.
• Establish and monitor metrics for cost, schedule, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Communicate status to leadership and stakeholders; ensure visibility.
• Drive process improvements and first-time quality in a fast-paced environment.
