Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking an experienced Embedded Systems Engineer to own the end-to-end development of LRUs for the New Glenn program. You will coordinate across design, test, and control teams to ensure robust integration of electro‑mechanical subsystems and avionics hardware.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, safety, and quality, with opportunities to influence architecture decisions and drive rigorous qualification testing in extreme environments.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering required, with hardware focus.
• Hands-on experience in complex electronic assemblies and system integration.
• Strong problem solving and avionics integration and test abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own development and integration of LRU assemblies for Embedded Controllers on New Glenn.
• Lead qualification testing in extreme environments per MIL-STD-461 and DO-160.
• Support requirement definition, verification, and lifecycle release activities.
• Contribute to avionics architecture trades, performance characterization, and device selection.
• Collaborate across avionics subsystems to identify risks, opportunities, and solutions.
• Ensure safe, reliable hardware through the product lifecycle.
