Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ seeks an Advanced Software Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and verify avionics display software and frameworks, ensuring compliance with certification and customer requirements. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 5 years of software development experience in embedded/real-time or regulated environments
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on C++ in embedded/real-time systems
• Experience designing software architectures and lifecycle processes

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute software activities to meet requirements
• Design, develop, integrate, maintain, test and verify avionics display software
• Support build, integration, release and delivery activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support development and customer acceptance
• Communicate progress, risks and corrective actions to stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement and mentor engineers
