Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Advanced Hardware Engineer in Phoenix, AZ to design and develop high-reliability hardware for next-generation displays and avionics systems. You will mentor junior engineers and guide complex hardware from prototype to production in a hybrid work model.

You will collaborate with software, systems, and test teams to ensure robust, compliant hardware solutions that meet customer and regulatory requirements, leveraging Do-254‑like practices and aerospace standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• 5+ years of hardware engineering and project leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of hardware design, implementation and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of advanced hardware systems from concept through production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define hardware requirements and ensure integration with software and systems engineering.
• Perform schematic capture, PCB design support, and hardware validation for performance and reliability.
