Garmin International seeks a full-time Intern - Design Certification Engineer at our U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. You will contribute to avionics certification under the guidance of a mentor, supporting FAA documentation and testing activities.

Responsibilities include assisting with DO-254 and DO-178 related tasks, developing test reports, and aiding with requirements development and trace matrices. Strong academics and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
• GPA 3.0+ with strong academic performance.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Assist in producing FAA/avionics certification documents under senior guidance.
• Support DO-254/DO-178 related tasks and testing activities.
• Develop and document test reports and trace matrices.
• Coordinate product development reviews and contribute to regulatory compliance.
