Job summary

Mach Industries Inc. is seeking an Avionics Build Engineer in Huntington Beach to own avionics builds from prototype to production. You will integrate electrical systems, troubleshoot issues, and work with technicians and engineers to improve quality and throughput.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering or equivalent hands-on experience, with 1+ years in avionics/hardware production. IPC experience and familiarity with flight computers are a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, Aerospace, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own the build, integration, and bring-up of avionics systems and wire harnesses.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing instructions, BOMs, drawings, and assembly documentation.
  • Troubleshoot electrical hardware using schematics, wiring diagrams, and test equipment; implement corrective actions.
  • Partner with design engineering to build initial prototypes and identify DFM/DFT improvements.
  • Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, cost, and production rate by reducing defects and bottlenecks.
  • Develop tooling, fixtures, test equipment, and production aids to improve repeatability and throughput.
  • Train manufacturing technicians on new processes, tools, and procedures.
