Job summary

Mach Industries in Huntington Beach, CA, seeks an Avionics Technician to support avionics manufacturing and integration. You will build wire harnesses, assemble and test avionics subassemblies, and assist integration into UAS products in a fast-paced, documentation-driven environment.

Role requires meticulous electrical workmanship, heavy attention to detail, and the ability to work from schematics and drawings. Availability for extended hours/weekends is needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ year experience wiring harnesses or electromechanical assemblies.
  • 1+ year experience with electronic test equipment (DMM, power supply, fixtures).
  • Strong knowledge of basic electronics theory and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and apply technical docs, schematics and drawings.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and fast execution pace.
  • Experience using precision measurement tools and inspection methods.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate wire harnesses to workmanship standards (cut/strip, crimp, terminate, label).
  • Solder and rework electronic assemblies and PCBAs as needed.
  • Modify and integrate COTS components per engineering instructions.
  • Read and execute work from controlled docs with revision control.
  • Record build steps, inspection results, and traceability in MES.
  • Flash/load and verify software/firmware configurations; document results.
  • Assemble, troubleshoot, and repair avionics stacks and components.
  • Conduct electrical/functional tests and support integration into assemblies.
  • Maintain tools, calibration status, and preventative maintenance.
