Job summary

FlightSafety International seeks a Visual System Engineer to define the visual subsystem architecture for flight simulators, translating requirements into concrete visual-system specifications and hardware layouts. You will select GPUs, image generators, display systems, networks, and related hardware to meet project goals.

You will collaborate with PMO, review RFIs/RFPs/SOWs, generate technical data, and support production, customer acceptance, and field deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field.
• 5+ years in requirements or systems engineering, preferably in aerospace or flight simulation.
• Strong ability to analyze and validate complex technical requirements across domains.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and review design with customers or internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Review RFIs, RFPs, SOWs, and Compliance Matrices to support proposals.
• Perform and document pre-mod inspections.
• Support internal SRR, PDR, CDR meetings and reviews with customers.
• Create BOMs, Cabinet Layouts, SID, and review technical data packages.
• Generate/Update ATPs and support production builds and installations.
• Support Customer Acceptance and DR clearance events and PMO program meetings.
