Job summary

FlightSafety International is seeking a Visual System Engineer to define and implement the visual subsystem for advanced flight simulators. You will translate customer and simulator requirements into architecture and specifications, selecting GPUs, image generators, and display components while coordinating with management and proposal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in requirements or systems engineering, preferably in aerospace or flight simulation.
• Experience with MBSE and configuration management tools highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Define visual subsystem structure and interfaces from customer and simulator requirements.
• Select and configure GPUs, image generators, display systems, and related infrastructure.
• Review RFIs/RFPs/ SOWs and provide input for proposal efforts.
• Create BOM, cabinet layouts, SID drawings and review technical data packages.
• Support production builds, system integration, and customer acceptance events.
