Job summary

Trego-Dugan Aviation Inc is seeking a Training Specialist to conduct initial and recurrent training for above and below wing operations at our Norfolk station. The role covers ramp operation, customer service, security, safety, ACAA, weight and balance, and aircraft appearance, with cross-utilization across below wing tasks.

Responsibilities include facilitating training, maintaining records per FAA regulations, and ensuring safety/compliance while supporting station operations.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent; college preferred.
• 2–5 years in customer service, ramp operations, or equivalent training/education.
• At least 1 year as Customer Service or Ramp Lead/Supervisor or equivalent.
• Experience as customer service or ground operations agent is a plus.
• Knowledge of airlines policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate initial and recurrent training across ramp and below wing operations.
• Evaluate and supervise customer service and ramp procedures for safety and compliance.
• Create and maintain training records per FAA regulations.
• Conduct GSE training on motorized equipment.
• Deliver customer service and ground operations training including Hazmat, Security, ACAA.
• Develop and implement station training procedures for carrier contracts.
• Support training department goals and assist with station operations as needed.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and management.
