Job summary

Trego-Dugan Aviation Inc. is seeking a Training Specialist to conduct initial and recurrent programs for above and below wing operations.

You will deliver instruction on ramp operations, customer service, security, safety, hazmat awareness, and weight and balance while ensuring compliance with FAA regulations. The role requires 2–5 years in customer service or ramp operations, plus teaching experience or willingness to train others.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent; College preferred.
• 2–5 years of Customer Service and Ramp Operations experience or equivalent training/education.
• Minimum 1 year as Customer Service or Ramp Lead/Supervisor or equivalent.
• Customer service or ground operations teaching experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of PC software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and airline policies.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate initial and recurrent training in ramp operations, customer service, security, Safety, ACAA, Weight and Balance, and Aircraft appearance.
• Evaluate and supervise customer service and ramp procedures for safety and compliance.
• Create and maintain training records per company, carrier and FAA regulations.
• Conduct GSE (Ground Service Equipment) training on all motorized equipment.
• Train and implement station training procedures for carrier contracts.
• Perform other duties to support Training dept’s goals and improve the product.
• Communicate effectively with students, subordinates and management.
• Travel as needed for training and station support.
