Job summary

Textron Aviation in Orlando, FL is seeking a Technical Service Manager (5th Shift) to lead a team of aircraft technicians, oversee hangar operations, and ensure quality and safety across maintenance activities. The role focuses on lean processes, performance monitoring, and customer satisfaction.

The candidate will coordinate with the Customer Service Manager, possess a strong background in aviation maintenance, and be able to obtain necessary security credentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or in lieu of degree a minimum of 5 years aircraft maintenance experience and/or relative supervisory experience required
• A&P License is required
• A Repairman Certificate/EASA License is helpful

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technicians and supervise hangar operations
• Ensure lean manufacturing and 5S processes
• Maintain safety, quality standards, and schedule adherence
• Track shop performance metrics with the Maintenance Manager
• Resolve post-delivery issues and customer follow-up
