Job summary

Textron Aviation is seeking a Technical Service Manager for the 5th shift at the Orlando service center. You will supervise technicians, coordinate lean manufacturing and safety programs, and serve as the main point of contact for aircraft maintenance and customer service updates.

The role emphasizes leadership in a high-volume hangar, adherence to quality standards, and collaboration with maintenance and customer service managers to resolve issues and maintain schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or 5+ years aircraft maintenance/supervisory experience.
• A&P License is required.
• Repairman Certificate/EASA License is helpful.
• Experience in maintenance is helpful.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an airport security badge if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Be the main contact for aircraft maintenance and hangar operations.
• Lead a team of technicians within the service center.
• Provide updates to Customer Service Manager to maintain customer relations.
• Implement lean processes and monitor shop performance metrics.
• Ensure safety protocols, schedule adherence, and quality standards.
