Job summary

Textron Aviation in Orlando, FL is seeking a Technical Service Manager to be the main point of contact for aircraft avionics maintenance, lead a team of technicians, and support the maintenance manager in hangar operations. You will drive updates to the Customer Service Manager and foster strong customer relationships.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of supervisory aircraft maintenance experience, an A&P license, and a Repairman/EASA license is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years aircraft maintenance experience and/or relative supervisory experience.
• A&P License is required.
• A Repairman Certificate/EASA License is helpful.
• Experience in maintenance is helpful.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an airport security badge through the local airport if applicable is required.

Responsibilities

• Lean Manufacturing: implement lean processes to reduce waste and improve productivity (5S) and coordinate Area Team Development events.
• Quality Assurance: ensure work meets policies, procedures and quality standards to maintain safety and satisfaction.
• Safety & Efficiency: oversee safety protocols, quality control, schedule adherence, and overall efficiency at the Service Center.
• Performance Monitoring: track shop performance metrics with the Maintenance Manager to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
• Team Supervision: assign tasks, coach, conduct evaluations, manage disciplinary actions, and address working conditions and ergonomic opportunities.
• Customer Follow-Up: resolve post-delivery issues and ensure open issues are resolved promptly.
