• 3+ years of technical writing and editing experience in aerospace or defense.
• Experience drafting and editing manuals, specifications, and presentation materials.
• Ability to interpret research and technical data for publication.
• Knowledge of field documentation standards and publication formats.
• Background in mechanical, aerospace, electrical/avionics, or related aviation domains.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Experience with S1000D, MIL-STD-3001, or other military standards.
• Knowledge of SGML/XML, and XML authoring tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Strong written communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
