Job summary

Castellum Inc. is seeking a technical writer to create and maintain IETMs and manuals for aerospace/avionics. You will translate complex technical data into clear documentation, manage XML content, and ensure publication standards, QA, and timely delivery. A DoD Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications include 3+ years in technical writing, experience with S1000D/MIL-STD-3001, and proficiency with FrameMaker and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical writing experience.
• Experience developing drafts, revising, and editing technical documents.
• Ability to interpret engineering information and standards.
• Knowledge of aviation industry documentation is preferred.
• Familiarity with military specifications and standards (S1000D, MIL-STD-3001).
• Proficiency in XML/SGML-based authoring tools and MS Office suite.
