Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Technical Operations Systems Specialist II in Savannah to support the Tech Ops Mechanical Team. You will diagnose complex electromechanical aircraft systems, including landing gear, flight controls, hydraulics, braking, powerplant, and water/waste systems, and provide effective corrective actions.

The role requires 5 years of maintenance/operations experience and an A&P license; advanced credentials may offset the degree.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in aviation maintenance or related curriculum required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5 years aircraft related maintenance and operations experience required.
An A&P license, EASA B1/B2 FlightSafety Master Technician and four (4) additional years related aircraft experience may offset the degree.

Responsibilities

Responds to in-flight emergency calls from operators by coordinating resources and providing technical data during the event.
Interprets operational/maintenance requirements and provides technical consultation to customers and internal teams to resolve conditions.
Conducts in-depth system reviews to develop troubleshooting plans and guides customers on plan implementation to return to service.
Directs the exchange of technical data to provide repair drawings for damaged in-service aircraft.
Develops and updates troubleshooting procedures and coordinates test equipment for Gulfstream aircraft.
Determines priorities for handling situations based on safety, urgency, and policy.
