Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace in Savannah seeks a Technical Operations System Specialist II for Fleet Communications. You will serve as the primary contact for internal and external customers, providing guidance on installation, service, repair, and maintenance of Gulfstream aircraft systems.

Under minimal direction, you will build customer relationships, coordinate with Flight Operations, Engineering, and Marketing, and develop new ways to improve technical support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aviation maintenance, engineering technology, or related curriculum required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5 years aircraft related maintenance and operations experience required.
• An A&P license, EASA B1/B2 FlightSafety Master Technician and four additional years related aircraft experience may offset degree.

Responsibilities

• Responds to in-flight emergency calls from operators by coordinating resources and providing technical data during events.
• Independently provides technical consultation to customers, Service Center, Product Support, and internal departments to resolve operational conditions.
• Develops troubleshooting plans tailored to operator/aircraft needs and guides teams on plan implementation to Return To Service (RTS).
• Directs exchange of technical data for repair drawings of in-service aircraft in the field.
