Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aviation maintenance, engineering technology, or related field; 9 years of aircraft maintenance/operations experience including supervisory/leadership responsibilities.
• A&P license, EASA B1/B2 or FlightSafety Master Technician certification; four additional years of related aircraft experience may offset degree.

Responsibilities

• Actively manage the group to achieve CIO, Organizational, EIP, and Contact Center goals using Lean methodologies.
• Maintain efficient turn-over/work assignments for after-hours/weekend and day personnel.
• Support AOG reports, including composition/distribution on time.
• Manage employee development and training plans; communicate performance expectations; conduct appraisals.
• Supervise systems specialists to ensure department objectives are met.
• Coordinate resources to repair AOG aircraft anywhere.
• Respond to in-flight emergencies by guiding teams and providing technical data.
