Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a Business Systems Analyst - Aviation Sustainment (Hartford, CT) to bridge business needs with IT solutions. You will interview users, analyze systems, and coordinate application changes across sites, with aviation experience preferred and a flexible schedule including evenings/weekends.

Strong Agile/Lean experience, IT change management knowledge, and excellent communication are required to drive projects from analysis through training and implementation.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years experience in business modeling, requirements management, analysis and design.
• Aviation experience preferred.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Experience with Agile Methodology and Lean Software Development.
• Experience with project management documentation across multiple phases.
• Strong planning and organizational skills for coordinating analysts.
• Facilitation skills to elicit discussion at all levels.
• Ability to plan and execute a training plan for a new system.
• Thorough knowledge of Agile/Lean and IT Change Management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to General Work Requirements.
• Interview business users to review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs.
• Evaluate proposed changes to applications for impact across sites.
• Lead in project management phases involving changes to applications.
• Coordinate development of IT applications and supporting business processes per IT specs.
• Meet with business units to ensure new applications meet priorities and objectives.
• Provide end-user support and training as required.
