Bombardier is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst in Wichita, KS to model business requirements, analyze needs, and design effective solutions. You will interview business users, assess changes, and coordinate IT projects across multiple sites to achieve strategic priorities.

Applicants should have 5-7 years in business analysis, aviation industry familiarity, and strong Agile/Lean practices. Evening/weekend flexibility and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years experience in business modeling, requirements management, analysis and design.
• Aviation experience preferred.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Lean Software Development.
• Planning and organizational skills to coordinate tasks across analysts.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to General Work Requirements.
• Interview business users to review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs.
• Evaluate proposed changes to existing and/or new applications to identify potential adverse impact upon operations across multiple sites.
• Lead in applicable phases of project management involving changes to existing and/or new applications.
• Facilitate and coordinate the development of an IT application(s) and supporting business processes according to IT specifications.
• Meet with business unit(s) to evaluate whether newly implemented applications and supporting processes are achieving priorities and objectives of business unit(s).
• End user support and training as required.
