Job summary

Lockheed Martin Corporation is seeking a Flight Safety Survival Equipment Technician to perform tasks related to the maintenance, servicing, and overhaul of aircraft ejection seats and related life support systems. The role involves canopy and seat removal/installation, and adherence to inspection records and technical data.

On-the-job training is provided; licensure or certifications may be required. The position requires knowledge of aircraft safety and experience with explosive/CAD PAD

Qualifications

Must have completed a military technical school program.
Explosive/CAD PAD experience required.
Strong knowledge of aircraft safety standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

Services, repairs and overhauls aircraft ejection seats to ensure airworthiness.
Removes/installs canopies and ejection seats; performs periodic maintenance of cockpit egress and life support systems (moderate difficulty) using hand tools.
Properly records all inspection and maintenance actions.
Utilizes basic hand tools, technical data, blueprints, and vendor instructions to perform tasks.
