Job summary

V2X is seeking a qualified Aircraft Egress/Environmental Systems Technician to maintain and service ejection seats, canopy systems, and environmental controls on Naval Test Wing Atlantic aircraft in Patuxent River, MD. The role requires experience with ground support equipment, rigging, and adherence to safety directives, with duties spanning on- and off-equipment maintenance and flight line operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must graduate from military/factory ejection seat course.
• Must complete Navy Skill Class C school for AME/USMC/USCG.
• Experience in rigging canopy and ejection systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintains assigned aircraft per Navy, manufacturer and company instructions.
• Performs maintenance on egress and environmental systems on squadron aircraft.
• Inspects and services ejection seats, canopy systems, and oxygen systems.
• Operates GSE and flight line vehicles; supports safety and housekeeping.
• Supervises/assists in aircraft movement and FOD prevention.
