V2X Inc. is seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to service and maintain egress, canopy, and environmental systems on Navy and contractor aircraft at Patuxent River, MD.

The role involves removing and inspecting ejection seats, conducting rigging of canopy mechanisms, and ensuring safe, compliant operation of aircraft support equipment. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus specialized training in ejection seats and navy-level maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of military or factory ejection seat course of instruction.
• Completion of Navy Skill Specialty Class C school for AME or equivalent.
• Experience with fitting and rigging canopy systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and publications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned aircraft per Navy, manufacturer and company instructions.
• Maintain egress system on aircraft and equipment.
• Remove, inspect and reinstall ejection seats; inspect seat harnesses.
• Inspect and replace seat explosive items and canopy components.
• Maintain environmental systems on aircraft.
• Operate GSE and flight line equipment.
• Ensure safety, housekeeping, and FOD prevention.
• Comply with relevant aircraft maintenance publications and directives.
