MartinBaker America is seeking a Parachute and Seat Survival Kit Technician in Johnstown, PA. The role requires expert inspection, advanced repair, precision packing, and repacking of ejection seat parachutes and survival kits to exacting DoD, OEM, and regulatory specifications.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, at least five years in ejection seat maintenance, and demonstrated ability to read technical drawings and manuals.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum five years' experience in support and maintenance of ejection seats/ejection seat components.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, manuals, and engineering documentation.
• Mastery in advanced packing, repacking, and repair of parachutes and SSKs, with aerospace/defense exposure.
• Adhere to all company policies and safety requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Perform advanced inspection, repair, and precision packing of parachutes and SSKs per DoD and OEM specs.
• Conduct detailed evaluations and failure analyses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Apply advanced problem-solving to diagnose failures and deliver lasting solutions.
• Maintain, calibrate, and certify parachute presses and related equipment to meet requirements.
• Enforce safety, quality, and FOD prevention standards while aligning with ISO, FAA, DoD, and Martin-Baker requirements.
