Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Los Angeles area is seeking a weekend day shift technician (Fri–Sun, 6:00am–6:30pm) with repair station experience to assemble and install aircraft structures. The role requires reading complex schematics and performing rivet and assembly work in accordance with FAA and company standards.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, 6 years in structural assembly, and familiarity with Solumina and Smarteam.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 years related structural assembly experience.
• Experience working with Solumina and SmarTeam preferred.
• Q-stamp preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and fit detail parts and structures, perform varied drilling and riveting operations and ensure assemblies meet requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specs, and workmanship instructions to guide fabrication and installation of aircraft components.
• Coordinate with supervision and inspection to ensure FAA paperwork and quality specifications are met.
• Mentor and assist teammates in interpreting drawings and orders to resolve production installation difficulties.
• Maintain logs and records (MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs) and ensure traceability.
