Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Los Angeles area is seeking a weekend day shift Structural Assembler with repair station experience to join our team. You will perform rivet work, layout, fabrication and assembly on aircraft components per drawings to ensure conformance to specifications.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 6 years of related structural assembly experience, and familiarity with Solumina and Smarteam.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 6 years related structural assembly experience.
• Solumina and Smarteam experience preferred; Q-stamp preferred.
• Position requires reading blueprints and adherence to FAA paperwork and quality specs.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly and fitting of detail parts and structures; rivet and inspect to meet requirements.
• Read work orders, blueprints, lofts, and operation sheets to determine sequence and rivet sizes.
• Use schematics/blueprints and engineering drawings to install parts on aircraft; coordinate with supervision for FAA sign-offs.
• Mentor and train teammates in interpreting blueprints and orders; maintain logs and records.
• Plan workloads to meet goal hours and schedule; ensure clean, safe work area.
