Job summary

Gulfstream is seeking a skilled technician for the weekend day shift (Friday to Sunday, 6:00am–6:30pm) to perform in-service aircraft repairs, installations, and modifications with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. Requirements include High School Diploma or GED, FAA A&P license or ability to obtain a repairman certificate within 30 days, and extensive production/manufacturing experience.

Base pay ranges from $37.91 to $49.76 per hour; final compensation will reflect qualifications and

Qualifications

• 15+ years extensive experience in production/manufacturing/service center.
• FAA A&P license or be able to obtain a repairman certificate within 30 days of start date.
• 2 years technical or trade school training in related area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical functions such as correct methods of in-service installations, repairs/modifications, & refurbishments.
• Troubleshoot problems in on-service aircraft and pursue preventative actions to improve efficiency and quality.
• Assist in problem solving to establish or correct planning methods for refurbishments and installations.
• Interact with Engineering, Product Support Engineering, & Quality Control to troubleshoot problems & implement solutions.
• Organize and administer an Employee Skills Development Program.
• Identify & develop training requirements for tooling, test equipment, & other areas.
• Plan, schedule & complete tasks to meet service/delivery schedules.
• Assist management with supervision of technicians and provide guidance for development.
• Review work records to ensure compliance with procedures and standards.
