Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a junior to mid-level software-focused Systems Engineer to perform software systems engineering for acquisition, development, and sustainment of aviation programs.

This full-time, on-site role requires an ACTIVE Secret clearance and may require Top Secret clearance later. The position is based at the NAVAIR base in Pax River, MD, with an anticipated start after September 1, 2026.

Qualifications

• At least two years experience performing software or systems engineering activities.
• Knowledge of avionics systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software requirements.
• Review and evaluate vendor software specifications.
• Coordinate with vendors on software and system integration.
• Conduct analysis of software defects.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity subject Matter experts.
• Participate in System Engineering Technical Reviews (SRRs, SSRs, PDRs, CDRs, TRRs).
• Support the ECP process and SOW/CDRL preparation.
• Develop IGCEs and assist in contractor proposals evaluation.
