Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC seeks a Software Development Engineer II, Customer Terminal Aviation Quality. You will establish the software quality framework for aviation terminal deliverable software, ensuring AS9115 compliance and airworthiness across the full lifecycle.

Are you experienced in software quality management, V&V, and regulatory documentation? You will lead audits, manage baselines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-integrity aerospace

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience for new and existing systems.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded distributed software applications.
• 1+ years of OO design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
• Experience programming with at least one programming language.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a software quality management system compliant with AS9115 for aviation deliverable software.
• Lead software quality risk assessment across the full development lifecycle.
• Develop and implement software quality control methodologies (static/dynamic analysis).
• Drive continuous improvement via process measurement and root cause investigations.
• Oversee software configuration management and baseline control.
• Support certification activities and documentation for STC compliance.
• Oversee supplier quality assessments and flow-down of AS9115 to partners.
• Lead internal audits and milestone readiness assessments.
