Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Aufgaben

• Establish and maintain a software quality management system (QMS) compliant with AS9115 and D0-178 for aviation terminal deliverable software development, ensuring adherence to AS9100 parent standard requirements
• Lead software quality risk assessment with software engineering teams across the full development lifecycle, including requirements management, and design reviews
• Develop and implement software quality control methodologies, including static/dynamic analysis, and defect trend analysis to ensure software integrity and airworthiness
• Drive continuous improvement through software process measurement, root cause investigations, and corrective action implementations
• Manage software configuration management, change control, and baseline software configuration
• Support FAA/EASA certification activities, including management of software documentation packages required for Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) compliance
• Oversee supplier software quality assessments and ensure flow-down of AS9115 QMS requirements to subcontracted software development partners
• Lead internal audits, peer reviews, and milestone readiness assessments to ensure software release quality and continued airworthiness compliance
