Job summary

Amazon LEO is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to build and own the quality foundation for the software stack powering in-flight connectivity for commercial airlines. The role defines SQA plans, test strategies, automation frameworks, and QMS processes across the fleet and airline customers.

This position blends process creation with hands-on testing, driving QMS compliance, traceability, and a data-driven quality culture that informs engineering and program decisions affecting

Responsibilities

Establish the Quality Management System (QMS) framework - define processes, standards, and workflows from development to aviation certification.
Own the test strategy for unit, integration, system, and HIL test levels.
Build and execute integration test plans for program milestones.
Establish requirements traceability from software requirements through design, tests, and results.
Define and enforce performance testing with measurable acceptance criteria.
Build test automation for the CI/CD pipeline.
Drive testability in architecture reviews and design reviews.
Establish defect management and quality reporting for release decisions.
Champion a quality culture and ensure aviation-grade quality is embedded from day one.
