Job summary

FTAI Aviation Ltd. in Miami, FL, is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the department that handles all materials, parts, tooling, and equipment for the repair station, ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.

You will lead the Receiving Inspectors, coordinate inspections, track documentation, and resolve quality issues while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment that supports operational objectives.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and basic computer skills.
• Experience in inspection and/or supply chain in an Engine MRO shop.
• Experience using Quantum Controls ERP.
• Strong part traceability and documentation knowledge.
• Familiarity with FAA Part 145 / EASA regulations for aircraft engines.
• Effective communication with internal teams and vendors.
• Strong organization and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-directed, motivated, and able to work with limited supervision.
• English language proficiency (read/write/speak).

Responsibilities

• Lead and prioritize daily activities of Shipping and Receiving personnel, including workload distribution, coverage, and overtime planning.
• Oversee the work performed by Receiving Inspectors who are unfamiliar with methods, techniques, and equipment used in maintenance.
• Train and develop new Receiving Inspectors.
• Coordinate inspections on incoming parts, materials, and tooling and generate identification tags.
• Coordinate required inspections per data standards and verify satisfactory completion.
• Audit inspection paperwork and component documentation for completeness and compliance.
• Log, track, and resolve quality and documentation discrepancies for incoming orders.
• Manage quarantined or non-conforming parts and disposition in a timely manner.
• Communicate with Supply Chain and vendors to resolve quality issues and shipment discrepancies.
• Handle any additional tasks as requested.
