West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking a Sheet Metal Technician to join our on-site MRO team in Chattanooga, TN. You will perform basic to advanced sheet metal operations on turbine aircraft structures, read blueprints, and work from drawings while following FAA guidelines.

The role requires hands-on work with fastening systems, sealants, and finish materials, plus basic computer use to navigate manuals and maintenance data. Strong teamwork and reliable transportation are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Airframe and Powerplant license preferred.
• Prior sheet metal experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and work from drawings.
• English proficiency required.

Responsabilités

• Perform basic to advanced sheet metal operations such as drilling, riveting, and cutting on airframe components.
• Apply and remove sealant, sound deadening and finish materials.
• Maintain shop facilities, equipment and tooling when required.
• Use basic computer skills to navigate electronic manuals and maintenance databases.
• Communicate clearly in English and follow supervisor instructions.
• Follow FAA guidelines and company safety rules.
