Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking a Sheet Metal Technician in Grand Junction, CO. This full-time, on-site role involves hands-on metalwork, reading blueprints, and working from drawings to support turbine aircraft structures.

You will collaborate with team members in a hangar environment and must be able to meet FAA guidelines. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and English communication abilities; an A&P license is preferred, with potential supervision

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Airframe and Powerplant license preferred.
• Experience with turbine aircraft structures is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
• Basic computer skills and English communication are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform sheet metal operations such as drilling and riveting.
• Apply sealants and install sound deadening materials.
• Maintain and repair shop facilities and tooling.
• Navigate electronic training manuals and maintenance databases.
• Ensure safety and follow FAA guidelines.
• Work under supervision with potential to supervise others.
