Job summary

Amentum, in partnership with ICITAP, seeks an Aviation Infrastructure and Security SME to lead design, development, and delivery of a specialized curriculum focused on airport operations, airspace risk management, and risk mitigation strategies for host nations.

The role requires extensive experience in federal aviation security, ability to travel TDY, write technical reports, and work independently or in teams within a multi-national context.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in the Federal Air Marshal Service (FAMS), or similar field.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
• US citizenship required to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Proven skill in problem solving and reporting.
• Experience designing and delivering security training and curricula.
• Familiarity with aviation security standards and risk mitigation.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop classroom-based courses using federal aviation security standards.
• Adapt US best practices for host nation curricula and training materials.
• Instruct on identifying and mitigating security risks in civil airspace, including UAS threats.
• Create frameworks and case studies for airspace risk management.
• Travel TDY to partner nations to deliver workshops and practical exercises.
• Produce timely technical reports, work plans, and post-travel assessments.
